Gala Must

Gala Must is a variation of the Gala varieties. These apples are large and round. The average weight of Gala Must is 160-170 g, which makes it the heaviest among the different Gala varieties. The covering color of the fruit is light and has a blurred crimson flush on almost the entire fruit. Gala Must is an excellent choice for healthy eating, as it's flavors are well-balanced and not overly sweet.

Red Jonaprince

Red Jonaprince is a variety of Jonagold with an almost continuous red color that is light to dark red. The shell is smooth with brown-yellow lenticels (or pores). The shape of this medium-sized apple is wider than it's length. Jonaprince is an aromatic variety with cream-colored flesh that is juicy and firm and its taste is a fine balance between sugar and acid. This apple is excellent to eat fresh, also suitable for cooking and baking. It is also a good choice for cider production. This variety was developed in New York State in the 1970s and is a cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious apples.

Alva

Alva apples are large, deep red, very tasty and have white flesh. They have a good balance between sweet and sour and an aromatic wine taste.

Jonagored

Jonagored is a conical red apple. The flesh is slightly yellow-green. The apple is very juicy and sweet, tempered with a slight acidity. Jonagored apples are perfect as snacks, baking or even making cider. If you are looking for an apple that is both sweet and tart, Jonagored is a great option. 

Golden Delicious

Golden Delicious is a large, yellow-green variety with a very sweet taste. Golden Delicious is a favorite in salads, applesauce and apple butter due to its sweetness. This variety is also good for pies and other baked goods. Golden Delicious apples can be stored for up to two months in a cool, dry place.

Elise

Elise apples are a popular variety known for their large size and cone-like shape. The fruit has a distinctive dark red blush that covers 50-75% of the yellow-green background. Belle de Boskoop

Belle de Boskoop is a versatile apple, perfect for both sweet and savoury dishes. The pulp is firm and flavorful, making it an excellent choice for pies. Unlike other food apples, Boskoop retains its shape when cooked, making it an excellent addition to salads as well. Boskoop apples are usually small to medium in size and have a deep red skin. Idared

Idared is an apple variety that is very suitable for baking. It is a cross between two apple varieties (Jonathan x Wagener). Idared has a white flesh with a firm shape. The apple is tart and juicy. These properties makes it perfect for use in pies, cakes and other baked goods. Idared apples are also very popular for making applesauce.

Mutsu

Mutsu apples are medium to large and have a greenish-yellow flesh that is both sweet and tart. The fruit is also highly aromatic, making it an excellent choice for juicing or eating on its own. These apples are also excellent for cooking, as they retain their shape well when cooked. Mutsu apples can be stored for up to three months before going bad, making them an excellent choice for long-term storage.

Champion

Champion, shampion or sampion is a hybrid variety of domesticated apple developed around 1960 in the Czech Republic by crossing Golden Delicious and Cox Orange Pippin. The fruit has an uneven skin color. Champion is a big apple with an average weight of about 220 grams. The flesh is white or cream-colored, crispy and juicy, with a balanced sweetness and acidity. The taste is described as similar to Golden Delicious, but with more citrus scent.

Ligol

Ligol apples are a medium to large variety with an average weight of 200-300 grams and has a round to elongated, conical appearance with flat shoulders tapering to a narrow base. The skin of the apple is thick, tough and semi-glossy with a slightly oily feel. The shell also has a yellow-green base that matures to a golden-yellow shade, covered in large, fuzzy spots with a bright red blush. Beneath the skin, the Ligol apple's flesh is white to cream-colored, crunchy, juicy and firm with a slightly sour taste. Ligol apples are best eaten fresh or used in salads and baking recipes.

Gloster

Gloster has a conical shape, an attractive red color. The flesh is crunchy and the taste is sour. Gloster is larger than Golden Delicious and has a more sour taste. Gloster is a good choice for everyone who are looking for an apple with a sour taste.
